About Us
We started this company because we were tired of watching homeowners get the runaround. Back in the early 1980s, we were doing concrete work ourselves, and every time we needed someone to handle driveway repairs or maintenance, we'd call around. Either nobody picked up the phone, or the contractors who did show up treated your project like it didn't matter. We saw that gap—the gap between what people needed and what they were actually getting.
So we decided to do it differently. We started small, learning which repairs lasted and which ones were just quick fixes. We made mistakes. We had to redo work. We learned the hard way that cutting corners on surface prep ruins everything. But we also learned something else: people remember you when you show up on time and explain what you're doing instead of handing them a bill with no explanation.
Four decades later, that's still how we work. We've watched neighborhoods change, seen driveways crack in ways we'd never imagined, and learned which techniques actually hold up to time. We've also seen our customers become neighbors we actually care about. That matters to us.
'We treat every driveway the way we'd want ours treated—with honesty and care from start to finish.'
— Our founding principle
Being locally owned means we hear about your driveway problems from actual neighbors, not corporate feedback loops. When someone's complaint gets back to us—whether through a friend of a friend or a direct call—we know that reputation is built on whether we show up and actually fix the problem. We've seen families stay in homes longer when they trust the contractors working on them, and that trust only comes from consistency and honesty about what a job needs.
Aiming to please all customers doesn't mean saying yes to everything. It means listening to what someone really needs and being honest when a quick patch won't cut it. We've turned down jobs because the real fix was more expensive than what someone wanted to hear, but it was the right call. Doing that consistently—even when it costs us—is how you keep people coming back and actually earn the word-of-mouth that's kept us alive for 40 years.
Installation, maintenance, and repairs aren't separate problems—they're one story. The driveway you install today determines the maintenance you'll need in five years, which determines what repairs keep it from cracking in year ten. We've learned to explain that story to customers so they understand why we recommend what we recommend, not because we're trying to upsell them, but because we've lived through the long game.
When you call, you're talking to people who know your area and your climate. We'll walk your driveway, ask actual questions about how you use it, and tell you what we think needs to happen. There's no pressure, no artificial urgency. If we can help, we'll say so clearly. If we think you should wait a season or try a smaller repair first, we'll tell you that too.
That's how we've stayed in business for 40 years while newer companies come and go. We show up, we explain what we're doing, and we finish what we started. Give us a call whenever you're ready. We'd like to meet you.
